The Camargue and the neighbouring Camargue Gardoise are a small part of Provence and Occitania, between Arles, Marseille and Montpellier, on the Mediterranean coast, different from anything you can imagine or find elsewhere!

There are mind-blowing, crazy village festivals with black bulls and white horses, all sorts of enthusiastic and odd characters, gypsy music and pilgrimages, flamenco dancers, authentic villages, weekly markets full with tasty local products... fabulous landscapes with pink flamingos and many other colourful birds... lagoons, salt marshes, immense sandy beaches... vineyards, rice fields... and lots of sunshine and fun events all year round, even in winter ;-)
